In the month of november 2014 we lost a young talented precious young lady to suicide. The subject was never spoken off and if you new or had the pleasure of knowing gemma her smile spoke a million words, gems touch a calm comfort and her smile was brighter than the sun. Behind gem left her family her friends and the love of her life. born soulmates and eachothers best friends mikey and gem shared the same hearbeat & kept eachother feeling magical . As you could imagine gemmas decion to find peace came as a huge shock and was something no one close to her would of ever imagined happening. As someone like myself who knows the feeling of being depressed and not ashamed to say 7 months ago my mind body and soul felt the pressure of life and tried giving up. Depression & suicide can take over faster than most realise and can start at any given moment. Unless you been there or are battling this horrible issue its something that needs to be treated seriously & with care. Im going to do whatever it takes to get involved and help get the word out there to everyone that there is help and theres always someone hear to listen & take the steps needed. We cant bring gemma back or take the hurt away from her loved ones but we can do our best with the support of our community and shout this topic from the rooftops as LOUD as we can. We can Help the ones suffering in silence and battling this issue. I dont need to sit hear and write a novel about how special gem was or how she touched many hearts or even her story leading upto the day god called her home because we all know that she was a angel in disguise pure PERFECTION. Never forgotten always missed and forever remembered gemma regan xxxx As part of this fundraiser in memory of beautiful gem myself along with those who new her will be taking part in a few of the fundraising events been organised by these wonderful people. Our goal is to reach $1000 which all goes to a depression & suicide prevention group helping to save another life but most important making it seen and heard that this is a serious issue that can in most people be helped.
